The word human comes from humus. Soil. We built systems that extract, classify, and untether from the source. Cartography is Not Home is a practice in deep listening — to DNA, soil, sound, and ancestral memory as parallel forms of intelligence. The knowledge systems closest to the answer are the least consulted.
